As part of the Economic Recovery and Governance Programme, implemented by Human Aid and Development (HAND) in partnership with UNICEF, HAND welcomed a UNICEF delegation to Latakia Governorate for a field visit to review the newly launched vocational training project and the training centre, which is currently being equipped ahead of programme implementation.

The visit formed part of ongoing coordination and implementation support efforts, providing an opportunity to review the progress of the centre’s preparation and reinforce collaboration between the two organizations. The initiative aims to establish an inclusive and enabling learning environment for young women and men, strengthen their employability through market-relevant vocational skills, and contribute to economic recovery by expanding access to sustainable livelihood opportunities.
