To further strengthen our strategic partnership in Syria, we were excited to welcome a delegation from the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation to Damascus, where they explored firsthand the realities facing Syrian youth and the evolving needs of the labor market.

This inspiring visit comes as part of our ongoing collaboration to implement the “Mawarid – Al Ghurair Growth Program for Vocational Training.” It also included a productive, high-level meeting with the Syrian Ministry of Industry to discuss ways to further enhance the project and ensure it reaches as many beneficiaries as possible.

Together, HAND and the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation are expanding vocational training opportunities through cutting-edge digital curricula across Damascus, Homs, and Aleppo—empowering young people with practical skills that support their entry into the labor market and strengthen their path toward a brighter future.
