A delegation from the Embassy of Finland visited Al-Qusayr in the Homs countryside to gain first-hand insight into projects and activities implemented by HAND in partnership with Plan International.

During the field visit, the delegation toured project implementation sites, reviewed progress across ongoing activities, and gained a closer understanding of the interventions and their tangible results on the ground.

The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange views on implementation progress, emerging needs, and operational challenges, while exploring the impact of project activities on the communities they serve.

The visit forms part of ongoing field monitoring efforts and underscores the importance of close coordination and collaboration with partners in supporting the quality, effectiveness, and sustainability of humanitarian and development interventions.
