New Partnership to Support Vocational Training in the Tourism and Hospitality Sector HAND, represented by its Executive Director, Saadettin Muvakit, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Tourism of the Syrian Arab Republic to support the vocational training programme implemented by HAND in the tourism and hospitality sector and make use of the Ministry’s vocational training centres. The partnership aims to provide young women and men with practical and specialised training opportunities to strengthen their skills and better prepare them for employment opportunities in the sector. The partnership forms part of HAND’s efforts to expand access to vocational training and strengthen linkages between skills development and labour market needs, supporting young women and men in Syria to pursue diverse employment and career pathways.
