Under the “Nomu Al Ghurair – Mawared” project, we believe that women’s empowerment through vocational training is not merely a numerical target, but a fundamental step toward building a more equitable and productive society.

The project aims to ensure that women represent no less than 40% of the total 2,500 trainees, reflecting our belief in their active role in the labor market and their capacity to contribute to the development of vocational and industrial sectors while strengthening local production.

Women’s participation in vocational training and industry creates broader opportunities for learning, employment, and economic independence, while enabling their skills and potential to be integrated into sustainable livelihood pathways.

Through “Nomu Al Ghurair – Mawared,” we are working to create market-driven training pathways that equip women and youth with practical skills, enabling them to transition from learning to earning and productivity, within a shared vision that brings together the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, HAND, and partners from both the public and private sectors.
