In the presence of Eng. Firas Masri, Deputy Governor of Aleppo for Services and Local Administration Affairs, HAND signed a partnership agreement with Emtilak Real Estate Development and Construction Company, the developer and implementing company of the Rehab Aleppo project, a major real estate and urban development project in Aleppo Governorate.

The partnership aims to facilitate employment opportunities for graduates of HAND’s vocational training programmes within the Rehab Aleppo project, particularly in construction- and reconstruction-related trades, including electrical works, plumbing and sanitary installations, aluminium works, and other related occupations.

The partnership will also draw on Emtilak’s technical expertise to support the further development of trainees’ skills and strengthen their readiness for employment, while exploring potential areas of cooperation in development and humanitarian programming.

Through this partnership, HAND and Emtilak seek to strengthen pathways from vocational training to employment by equipping young people in Syria with practical skills and knowledge aligned with labour market needs, while facilitating their access to opportunities within the private sector.
